Look 'n Book Account

  • I am a new customer. What do I need to do?

    To set up your online account, click here. We will require an email address which you will use to login. Also required is a mailing address, phone number, and names and birth dates of all family members that will be included in your account.

  • I have registered in programs in the past. How do I know if I have an existing account?

    If you believe you already have a Look 'n Book account, click here and enter your email address to request a password reset link. If your email is associated with an existing account, you will receive instructions to reset your password. If you receive an error message or are unsure if you have an existing account, click here to set up an account or verify your information. Remember to include your name, address, email and phone number.

  • I received an error message when trying to reset my password.

    If you received the following message: "There is an error with your account. Please contact us directly for further details." It may be for one of the following reasons:

    • You do not have an account; or
    • Your email address was not included on your previous client account

  • I would like to change my account information. How can I do this?

    Once you are logged in, you can change some of your account information in the My Account dropdown. To change information in locked fields, please contact us at or call 403-309-8411.

  • I forgot my account username. What should I do now?

    Click on the Forgot Password link on the login page. Enter your email address and click send. If you have an existing account, you will receive an email with further directions.

    If you receive an error message, you may not have an existing account, or a valid email is not associated with your account. Contact us at or call 403-309-8411 for further assistance.

  • I don’t see the other members of my family. What do I need to do?

    Please make sure to log on to your account before booking an activity. Once logged on you should see all family members on your account. Click here to log on.

  • When doing a password reset, and there are multiple people on the account, what do I need to do?

    If there are multiple people on your account, when you do a password reset, choose only the owner of the account (not all family members) and then create and confirm your password.

  • How do I use a credit on my account?

    Available credits can be viewed by clicking on Statements. Any available credits will appear in the basket as a payment option prior to checking out.

Activity Reservations

  • How do I book non-family members that are not listed on my family account in an Activity Reservation?

    You can not book someone outside of your immediate family on Look ‘n Book. To use Look ‘n Book, a person must have an account set-up. Call 309-8411 to book non-family members.

  • How can I view my Activity Reservations?

    My bookings will show booking for the family for the next 7 days, however if you go to “Appointments” you will see all the activities you have book for yourself or other family members.

  • How do I cancel an Activity Reservation Appointment?

    Activity Reservation Appointments can be cancelled on Look ‘n book in the Appointments tab. Please note that cancellation policies are charged accordingly.

Program Registrations

  • Where can I find information on all the programs I am interested in?

    To browse programs offered by The City of Red Deer, visit to create your own custom Activity Guide. Select the categories, age groups and locations that interest you, and register through Look ’n Book, or save the generated guide for future reference. Please keep in mind that the My Activity Guide Tool will only pull City of Red Deer programs and not activity reservations.

  • How do I cancel a Program Registration?

    Program Registrations can not be cancelled on Look ‘n Book. Please call 403-309-8411 to cancel any Program Registrations.


  • How can I see passes on Look ‘n Book for my family?

    Once logged into Look ‘n Book, only the account owner’s pass information will show under My Memberships. Any additional family member passes will not show on Look ‘n Book. If you would like more information about the other passes on your family account, please call 403-309-8411.

  • How can I purchase more then one pass at a time?

    Due to a system limitation, only one pass can be purchased at a time. To purchase multiple passes they need to either be purchased one at a time on Look ‘n Book or you can call 403-309-8411 to have it done in one transaction.

  • I don’t see Family passes available to purchase on Look ‘n Book?

    Family passes can only be purchased in person or by calling 403-309-8411.
