The NL/AEC recertification exam is to assist lifeguards in maintaining their current National Lifeguard Pool and Aquatic Emergency Care certification. This certification will also recertify the candidates CPR-C & AED award. Recertification is required every 2 years. Please bring a copy of your NL Pool Option & AEC Certification Card to the recert. Prerequisites: Candidate must have previously held the National Lifeguard Award. AEC certification must be current. If AEC is expired candidate is required to attend an original course. Candidate cannot attend with Standard First Aid certification, must be AEC certified.
