The Lifesaving Society’s National Lifeguard Pool certification is designed to develop the fundamental values, judgement, knowledge, skills and fitness required by lifeguards. Emphasizes the lifeguarding skills, principles and practices and decision-making processes that assist the lifeguard in providing effective safety supervision in swimming pool environments. Candidate must hold a Bronze Cross (does not need to be current) and a Intermediate Frist Aid certification by the first day of the course. Prerequisite: 15 years of age, Bronze Cross and Intermeidate First Aid Certification.
